The young Israeli drummer Roni Kaspi (24) is a familiar name to local jazz enthusiasts. Kaspi first gained recognition in 2020 as the drummer for an international tour with jazz bassist Avishai Cohen’s trio. Alongside her prestigious tour and completing her studies at Berklee, Kaspi has always been engaged in the original material she writes and composes. Now, she steps to the forefront as a leading soloist and singer-songwriter. Her music blends jazz with influences of pop, soul, electronic, and world music. The result is a modern, lively cocktail brimming with groove.
