The 15th International Music Showcase Festival – Special Edition IMSF
Every year during November, Israel welcomes a diverse group of music industry professionals worldwide, including directors of major festivals, club owners, producers, artistic managers, record label representatives, journalists, broadcasters, and international talent scouts. They experience the Israeli music scene firsthand, eager to identify the next big talents that could shine on the global stage.
For many years, we have been proud that the International Music Showcase Festival is recognized as one of the leading boutique showcase events in the world, providing a vital platform to promote Israeli music internationally.
However, the 2023 festival did not occur in its usual international format due to the war and events of October 7.
While this year’s international market may feel like a distant goal, we have decided to move forward with the festival in an alternative format:
a unique collaboration between the Red Sea Jazz Festival and the International Music Showcase Festival.
The Showcase Festival will begin with three days of performances in Jerusalem, featuring guests from the international music industry. This will be followed by three days in Eilat, where we will collaborate with these international guests to present outstanding performances at the Red Sea Jazz Festival. The festival’s program will also include special showcase events, professional meetings, networking opportunities with festival artists, and more.
We are pleased to continue our valued collaboration with Young City JLM at the new Arts Campus in Jerusalem, now entering its third year. This year, we are excited to introduce a fresh partnership with the Jerusalem Arts Festival, featuring lively after-party events at the Sam Spiegel Film School.
In Jerusalem, performances will take place at the Yellow Submarine and the new Arts Campus. In Eilat, performances will take place at the Eilat Port.
The International Music Showcase Festival is a collaborative project between “Yellow Submarine – the place for music in Jerusalem” and the Cultural Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is further supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Jerusalem Foundation, and the Jerusalem Municipality.
