Amitai Kurtz is undeniably one of the standout arrangers of the new generation in Israeli jazz. This year, Koren will make his debut at the Eilat Jazz Festival with his collective in a fresh and original performance. The show will feature Amitai’s original compositions, alongside ambitious and striking arrangements of classic Israeli and international songs from various eras. A highlight of the performance will be the appearance of three generations of notable Israeli musicians chosen by Koren: Alon Ularchik—an iconic figure in Israeli music with a lasting connection to jazz; Alon Eder—one of the most prominent and beloved creators in local rock; and Lihi Toldano—a compelling and intriguing name of the year, a young singer-songwriter known for her unique groove and style
