“Anyone who hears the sound of a harmonica can be transported to a different musical context, from the old Israel of the Adler Trio to the jazz of Toots Thielemans or the groovy sound of Stevie Wonder. The brilliant harmonica player Roni Eitan’s sound is a combination and reverberation of all of these (and many others), but it is primarily its own fresh and unique color that propels this exciting instrument to new heights. Eitan recorded his debut album in France last year (produced by Shai Maestro), and some of the songs will be performed live at the festival. “
